Last weekend we ventured out of the house for Madelyn's first overnight trip. We went to Ocean City, NJ to my aunt and uncle's beach house. She did great! She slept the whole time in the car! Everytime the car stopped she started to wake up, but as soon as we started on our way again, she fell back to sleep. She was trying so hard to wake up, but the car won! It was so funny to watch!
We finally were able to introduce Madelyn to her Great-Grandma (my Mom's Mom) who she is named after (Jeanne). Grandma was so excited to finally meet her! We even dressed Maddie in Grandma's favorite color, yellow!
It was nice to get away, even though it was a short trip. Maddie never ventured down to the beach, but we got some cute shots of our bathing beauty!
